  • a guy walks into a bar and feels it necessary to tell everyone he's the toughest SOB in the place. Chances are that he isn't. A news channel feels it necessary to tell everyone that it's fair and balanced . . . . . . well, you get my point.

  • I see you deleted your comment because it makes you look foolish lol. Just like Fox news ,covering up the facts lol

  • @topper4125 No retraction is necessary because the essential details are true. What's more, since the information was uncovered there was another scandal involving Murdoch's empire - phone hacking in both the UK and the US. Or perhaps you think that is some liberal ploy too?

  • @TheTubePortal If you Google "Murdoch Negative Taxes" the first three hits are from moderatevoice, Salon, and reuters, all saying that that story was false, has been retracted, and the author David Cay Johnson (who worked for Reuters) apologized for the error. All of them posted the retraction/apology story in July 2011. It'll be interesting to see when you post your retraction of the lie.

  • @bigjohnmac dude you are commenting on something I wrote 2 years ago? A little late to the party don't ya think???

  • @jaroncreed Covering up facts? How bout not c overing the truth of the Occupy Wall Street movement? How bout the deafening silence coming from ABC, CBS, and NBC regarding Obama governing exclusively by executive order and violating the Constitution? These so-called objective news organizations are just mouthpieces for the liberal claptrap!

  • The truth is that the reason Fox News came into being was because of the extremely biased left wing coverage provided by all of the major networks. CBS was the most biased. So for Walter to complain of bias is like the pot calling the kettle black. On a related note, before Rush Limbaugh has his national radio program, all of talk radio was left wing. One final comment.Obama wants to reinstate the so-called fairness doctrine. He just wants to squelch all criticism of him and his record!

  • @TheTubePortal You're right. But if I had a lot of money, I would choose to donate to charities (especially animal charities) as well as help people out who are less fortunate. Giving money to the IRS and the government - in theory - should be doing that, but we all know that very little of this money goes into helping the community. So while I agree with you on some points, I don't think that paying more taxes is ever a good idea for anyone, so I won't fault him for that.

  • @reymatt76 I'm talking about a multi-billion dollar corporation, not an individual person. The tax burden has been on the middle class and poor for centuries, while the wealthy and super wealthy have sought every way possible to pay as little taxes as possible. This is immoral. The more money you have the more responsibility you have to your community. Everybody should seek to pay their taxes and be a good citizen. Rupert Murdoch's organization owns most of the global media.

  • @TheTubePortal Honestly, if I could find a way to get the max amount back from the government as possible, I would do it too. Why would anyone WANT to pay more taxes?

  • @notredamehesamighty my step dad is an idiot cause he watches FOX and claims they are fair and balanced. yeah, sure they are.

  • AAAARRGGH! I tried to put this on my FB but YouTube is effed up! I hate it when it shows up as just a link with a bunch of numbers. p.s. Walter Cronkite was the MOST HONEST journalist of all time!!
