This is the video produced by Brother Paul Beardmore for the Fairfax County (VA) Professional Fire Fighters & Paramedics - IAFF Local 2068. It was distributed to all work locations within the Fairfax County Fire & Rescue Department in advance of our 4 day Labor Day weekend collection campaign.
If you happen to be driving around Fairfax County from August 31st through September 3 and see firefighters with boots collecting, please help!

The top collecting station was Station 40 with $38,482.26 for the four day campaign.
I am very proud of all of our collectors!

Thanks to the citizens, employees and visitors to Fairfax County, not only did we surpass our goal of $375,000, we surpassed the 2007 Fill the Boot champ, Houston (TX) Local 341 by $5,000. I am proud to announce that the members of the Fairfax County Fire & Rescue Department, apparatus shop and communications professions raised an amazing $536,026.32 during the 2007 campaign to ease them into the nationwide #1 spot for most raised during the 2007 Fill the Boot campaign.
