Oh wow .. the memories just can flooding in. I had so many wonderful summers here. RIP Americana!

My grandparents use to take me there during summer back in the 70's. She just passed away at the age of 105. I will always have fond thoughts of both.

@xxbubblybubblzxx I agree with you it was alot better and Cheaper then Kings Island and the great thing about americana is that you didnt have to park unknown amount of miles away like you do at kings island and get lost in the parkin lot tryin to find your car. Now the sad thing is that if youve been walin all day at the park The cheap azzes got rid of the Tram that took you to and from the park entrance

Oh man the kiddie coaster, damn i missed the days when you could ride that ride twice

WHEN DID THEY PAINT THE SERPENT BLUE? I REMEMBER IT BEING ORANGE.

2:09 THE WATER LOG RIDE. LOVED IT. WENT THERE SEVERAL SUMMERS IN THE 90'S.

Heartbreaking. The last memory I have of my grandfather is riding the Screechin' Eagle with him. It was my first coaster ride. He passed away unexpectedly a few weeks later. I had always hoped that if I ever have grandchildren, I could make it their first coaster ride. But it looks like it will never happen....:(

I wanna cry, watching thiz video, itz so sad,
thiz place, iz so AMAZING
wayy better than kings island
I grew up maybe 20 minutes away from this park. It's a shame that it's rotting away like this.
Especially the eagle. That was one kick ass coaster when I went there as a kid. How did this place go under anyways?
