Nelson Mandela after his release from prison embraced the old apartheid regime and forgot about Steve Biko and many others who fought the regime for his freedom. To me Biko was the true inspiration and leader of South Africa. Nelson Mandela became an Angloamerican puppet just like president umbeki. The apartheid maybe gone but something else has taken place as an economic apartheid.

Very well said. I am amazed the African people have not risen up against the ANC. Greater education is required. And you are correct, Steve Biko was the real voice of South Africa. He gave his life so that others would be free. Mandela has prostituted black South Africa to a white, rapacious, corporate past and future. His behaviour has been shameful.

Q. Why is everyone from other countries in Africa immigrating to SA?

A. Because the standard of living in SA is many times higher.

Q. Why is the standard of living so much higher?

A. Europeans brought a first world standard of living to a third world continent.

The avg. black S. African enjoys an incredible standard of living compared to the rest of the continent. I don't see S. Africans immigrating to any neighboring countries because oppression is so bad.

Yup John Pilger - you just do not get it about blacks I guess - and never will.

Fact is that 10 years after this doccie, less people have clean water!

In many towns the water from taps is filthy and undrinkable as a result of the ANC placing their own people (incompetent, untrained blacks - this is called 'transformation' ) in charge of municipal services and failing to spend the money for maintenance of water treatment plants.

Trust the ANC to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory!
