Bat & Ball Challenge 2011 - Overview - De Vere Hotels

Bat n' Ball Challenge: De Vere Club PGA Seniors Championship at De Vere Slaley Hall Hotel, near Newcastle.

Two De Vere Club (DVC - https://www.thedevereclub.co.uk/) members, Freddie Flintoff and Harry Redknapp brought a team of Cricketers and Footballers along respectively.

Freddie's team included Paul Collingwood, Steve Harmison and Darren Gough amongst others, whilst Harry brought son, Jamie Redknapp, Clive Allen, Kevin Bond as well as Peter Beardsley, plus friends.

A great day was had by all, with the footballers running away with the title, but the highlight of the day was Freddie, doing a 'Happy Gilmore' slow hand clap on the 18th tee before hitting the ball 300 yards straight down the fairway!!!
