This is Part 1 of my Hair Care Series. I am always getting questions on my hair - how I take care of it, what products I use and how I keep it from frizzing etc.

This part will cover the products that I use daily.
Part 2 will be a step by step on what I do in the mornings and Part 3 will be some tips and tricks for curly hair.

Parts 2 & 3 will be up later this month.

Just an FYI, I DO NOT blow dry my hair, I let it air dry.

Products mentioned in this video in the order I use them:
1. TiGi BedHead Foxy Curls Frizz Fighting Sulfate-Free Shampoo, Frizz-Fighting Moistureilicous Conditioner (I rinse my hair DAILY but I only shampoo 3-4 times a week)
2. Pravana Hydrating Intensive Leave-In Treatment
3. Bumble & Bumble Leave-In Rinse-Out Conditioner
4. TiGi BedHead Foxy Curls Extreme Curls Mousse
5. Aquage Ultra Shine Complex
6. Joico Firm Gel

-Redken All Soft Heavy Cream (at least once a month)

Extra items that I only use on occasion.
-Aquage Sea Salt Texturizing Spray
-Joico Design Collection Humidity Blocker

These products can be found online, at a beauty supply (NOT Sally's) or a salon.

Be sure to check my blog later this week for more info on each product. http://beautymaintenance.blogspot.com

  • This was great! I'm so glad there is something out there for curly hair that works. I've tried everything!! Your hair is very pretty.

  • Thank you! Definitely try different things and in different combination. What works for me might not work for you but its worth a shot. Because I have such thick hair I can get away with using a lot of product and not worrying about weighing it down. I know that lotions work great for my sister but not for me so definitely experiment till you find what works for your hair.

  • i need help for my hair i have midlength hair that is curly poufy and frizzy

I use curls rock shampoo and conditioner on my hair i condition ever day but shampoo every other day

    i don't brush?comb my hair

just use a comb to distribut conditioner

and use any mousee or gel i have .

    ANY HELP

  • I only shampoo about 3 times a week but I do rinse my hair every morning in the shower. I brush my hair twice a day, once in the morning before I get in the shower and at night before bed. You have to brush curly hair to help distribute the oils and stimulate the scalp just don't brush it during the day after its been styled. Leave in conditioners are key to help control frizz which is why I use 2. I also almost never use heat on my hair I just air dry.

  • I LOVE THIS VIDEO AND YOUR HAIR

i have poufy midlenghth curly hair

i use TIGI catwalk curls rock shampoo and conditioner

and and gel or mousee to style

but my curls either get frizzy lose shape or i get hard curls

    any help?

  • Thank you! :) I have found that crunchy curls are a result of having your hair too wet when applying product. I comb through each product and once I'm done I use my hands to scrunch my hair and then after about 20-30 minutes I give my hair a good shake to fluff it up and break up any potential crunchies.

  • hi there!!! do you know what's the difference between the 'foxy curls' and 'curls rock' products??? love your hair!

  • Naturally curly hair goes only with professional hair products! I have the worst kind. Frizzy & only till the shoulders (short growth cycle). So it never gets long & heavy enough to look good. It is uncontrollable if I comb it without products. It looks like cotton and flies around... And it is so dry, that if I comb it without a product the hairs break! Eugene Perma and Framesi kinda work for me, so I am really excited to look for the products u recommended. I hope I can find them in Austria.

  • you have some serious nails girl!

    =]

i have beach waves for natural hair,

so I'll see if these products would work for my hair too. =]

way to rock it the natural way.

  • Is it the same that I show here? I LOVE the FoxyCurls and it really does make a huge difference. When it comes to curly hair once you find something that works stick with it! :)

  • Deva Curl is great although unfortunately it did not work for me :(. Having curly hair is expensive and requires a lot of trial and error. I can't even tell you how many different brands I have tried or how many different cocktails I've combined. So far what I show here really is the only thing working for me at the moment and that mousse and gel are KEY for me at least. My sister can get away with less sometimes but my hair is just really course which adds another element to the mix

  • She gives really good products but if money is tighter try DevaCurl products. They are great and shampoo and conditioner is like 20 dollars together (not each). That might still be kind of expensive... but the reality is, like she said, curly hair just isnt inexpensive.

  • I use this bedhead the purple line. Smells amazing and first time in my life, my curly hair is soft and gorgeous.
