I don't know whats worse: Getting a boner in your sleep when you watch this.
Sawing of your leg just to get one.

@Suldo3 Sarif Industries actually sent me here, just go to their website!

@SkInHoUnD wow are you dumb how many people have lost their legs to cancer? Like 5?
-
Deus Ex : Human Revolution. In real life. Oh god...Developers don't know that the technology goes so fast :D
-
@SkInHoUnD I'd say we work hard both on finding a cure for cancer (or cures, since there are many different types of cancers) and prosthetics, since we don't know how long it will take until we find one. If prosthetics becomes advanced enough, then perhaps people will not care that much if they have to amputate a limb.
i wonder if its works by connecting to the nerves of the leg... for it to work.

@michiskawa I believe you wear an ankle brace transmitter and pressure plate on the real leg. Then the roboleg moves in accordance with the stride.

There was guy in my school with a bionic leg, except that it was a lot skinner with exposed wires and had a navy color into it. I always wonder how the world would be like withing the next 100 years.

@dinmagic Current expert projections involve growing and reattaching body parts vs. man-machine interfaces, like this one here but controlled more by the nerves/brains. What I think is that some people will want a real partand others want a mechanical one because it gives you an advantage, either in work or war. When we can grow human parts and attach them easily, there will be people who voluntarily freeze their limbs to that they can use a more powerful one. I can definately see that.

@rasmasyean "voluntarily freeze their limbs to that they can use a more powerful one" man i cant imagine doing that to my self, tho you are right. Either way, I don't think people would be allowed to do that if such technology exist, as the mechanical limbs should only be available to those who need it.

@apriswajaya Yeah, you'd think. If you can afford it, someone will do it. Even a robot breast implant! Imagine that!
