Television is not the truth

We're in a lot of trouble. There is a whole generation of people that never knew anything that didn't come out of "the tube". This is a 4 minute snipit from the documentary Zeitgeist.

I'm pretty sure all of these TV programs are just a result of the entertainment industry trying to make money.

I highly doubt American Idol and reality TV shows are a result of the government trying to dumb us down.

Besides, if we aren't suppose to believe what we hear, why should we believe this?

Our media is completely controlled. There are no "real" journalists. You're only shown what a handful of corporate power elite want you to see. Profit is a side effect. Our society is falling apart. Have you noticed? Look around you. Do you think this is an accident? Television shows are called programming for a reason.

But you're free to think how you want. If you think a small handful of corporate elite, that have your distraction in their best interest, are telling you the truth, so be it.

if you pay attention to the total do gooders in high school, they are distracted from what is really going on in the world. sure they get high test scores, but they are in-capable of critical thinking.

In High School we hardly talk about economics and politics, they make us study useless information instead, especially in science classes IE the anatomy of an earthworm

these kind of videos are posted for paranoic people...im not saying that i dont care about things going on out there...im just saying that these shows, books, videos, images, advertiments are some fakes created to make money, and they ain't got nothing to do with reality..thats my oppinion..

My friend, life is advertisement, if its not one thing then its the other, but you have to think for yourself in order to agree with some ideas of the whole subject and not believe everything without thinking about it.

I totally agree with this comment...The whole 3rd part of the zeitgeist is the peak of stupidity!Even if this is truth (which is not,in my oppinion),what could you do about it?Nothing...And,if the government is so smart,why is he allowing the posting of these kind of movies and videos?I think,this is the most petty way to sell something...
