Low to make rumours from the death of a loved one, having endured it just recently, no fun.

I agree, except that I wasn't smiling. I was too disgusted and infuriated by the fact that these reprehensible "people" had spread such horrible rumors. Having endured the death of a close loved one, myself, I was literally able to feel that kind of pain.
Things like that almost make me lose faith in humanity.
Almost.
Moments like this help to restore that faith.
