@osaji922 Yeah no doubt, I like both. I always find myself watching reruns of Living Single and for some reason I'm not interested in Friends anymore ever since it went off the air.

@BASEJOCK11 Even though Living Single debuted a year before friends? If anything Friends was the white version of Living Single. Friends just got the acclaim because it was on NBC which was the best network back then and more people are white in america so they can relate to it better than Living Single. Not dissing on Friends though

@jjtiojohn12 well I'm glad that UPN and WB are done and gone because I never actually went over there to watch any of there trash shows. Most of them were trash. Only a select few weren't. Hopefully the "black sitcom" can make a comeback.I'm liking what I'm seeing from abc as of late but we'll see where the other networks go

@Kryptonian250 One thing I've noticed lately is that I'm seeing more people of Indian decent in shows which to me makes those characters more of a token character because they're not funny at all and indians aren't even a big minority in the U.S.like hispanic and blacks. At least with Living Single, they all had done something significant prior to the show so they weren't nobodies. These indians that they have are absolute nobodies

I'm a white dude but what the hell happened to Black Comedy/television?The whole 90's were full of Black television nowadays everything is bland and dull.
Its like Black television became extinct on December 31, 1999.
