Gerry & The Pacemakers
Rip It Up / You'll Never Walk Alone (Reprise)

Excellent show, unfortunately wasn't able to film the concert portion, just the encore!! Got a few good songs recorded on my iPhone though :-D
Gerry & The Pacemakers are a band originating from Liverpool, UK starting in the early 60's. Originally formed by Gerry Marsden (still lead) and brother Fred Marsden (died 2006). Les Chadwick & Les Maguire were then brought in afterwards and the rest was history. After a brief split in 1967, Gerry brought the Pacemakers back and continues to tour to this day. Gerry & The Pacemakers were the first British band to hit 3 #1 Hits in a row, beating The Beatles who at the time were still trying to find their sound (great band none the less). Gerry puts a lot of effort into his show and has great stories to tell everyone between songs. He's got a great sense of humour also which helps a lot. Many singers don't have a great sense of humour all the time, but Gerry seems like such a great and happy person, and you can tell that he loves what he's doing.
Also be on the lookout for a NEW Live CD of his current tour sometime in the next year I suppose and for a NEW Studio Album Gerry is currently working on!! Can't WAIT :-D
Excellent performance and well worth seeing if Gerry comes to town. I was also lucky enough to get his autograph between him doing interviews! Great guy, shame he couldn't chat, had to be rushed away to another interview!! Maybe next time :-)
Very nice. Looks like a good time.
