Part 2 Dorian and Charlie realize that they havent found Mitchs hideout, but Vikis cabin. Dorian is less than thrilled at the thought of having to seek refuge in Vikis cabin but sees no other option. Charlie carried Dorian to the cabin. Inside the cabin, Gigi is so worried about Schuyler that she is prepared to go out into the blizzard and find him. Before she can leave, Charlie and Dorian come aknockin and Gigi lets them rest inside. Charlie tells Gigi about the accident up the road and Gigi immediately believes that Schuyler is hurt somewhere. She wants to go after him, but Charlie doesnt want Gigi to go out into the storm alone. Gigi promises that shell be fine, having weathered much worse storms in Wisconsin. Reluctantly, Charlie lets Gigi go in search of Schuyler. Dorian reminds Charlie of their primary motive for being out to find Mitch, kill him, and rescue Jessica. Dorian cant walk because her feet are horribly frostbitten, Charlie braves the blizzard elements and goes in search of Mitch and Jessica. Dorian hopes that Charlie finds Mitch before Mitch can hurt anyone in her family.
Fish and Rex learn that all roads leading up to Llantano Mountain are closed, they sneak by a road block and continue until they come upon Dorians and Schuylers car which are inches away from each other. Fish checks out Dorians car while Rex checks out Schuylers car. Fish realizes that he and Rex cant drive by the accident because there is no room on the road to maneuver his car, so they have to continue on foot. Rex tells Fish that nothing will stop him from getting to his baby and Stacy. Fish almost tells Rex the truth about the baby not being his, but stops when Rex searches Schuylers car for gloves and finds a copy of Stacys will. Rex wonders why Schuyler would have a copy, and then he finds his answer Stacy has named Schuyler guardian of her child. Rex wonders why Stacy would do this.
Schuyler is wandering around Llantano Forest; he is badly hurt (injuring his head and leg in the accident). Schuyler tells himself that he has to keep moving for Gigis sake. Mitch is absolutely furious with Stacy for keeping the charade going for so long, furious enough to choke her until she passes out. Jessica asks her father to stop hurting an innocent child because of his/her mothers mistakes. Mitch calms himself down, he prays to God while Stacy regains her composure. Stacy asks Mitch if hell let her go or kill her, Mitch explains that her fate isnt up to him to decide, so Mitch hatches a plan hell let God decide Stacys fate by throwing her into the storm (if she survives, it was Gods will that she and the baby survived, if she died then that was also Gods will). Mitch pushes Stacy out the door, into the freezing blizzard. Mitch returns to Jessica, who asks him if shell ever be a mother again. Mitch talks with God, asking why God would tell him that his heir is coming when the baby isnt coming. Mitch gets his answer and hatches his most devious plot of all Mitch thinks that God promised him a Messiah, but did not specify which child would bear this offspring. Mitch tells Jessica that she will be a mother, with his help, they will bring a child into this world together.
Stacy bundles up as best she can and wanders through Llantano Forest, she tells her baby that everything will be okay. Suddenly, her water breaks (for real) and Stacy goes into labor. . .
