  • The market for these is diminshing due to the low cost of micro PLC's. When you can buy a Click for $ 69.00 with free software it's hard to consider PLR's.

  • @adisharr That could be debated. The ultra-low-end Click has no analog capability, as I recall, so you are not really comparing apples to apples. And the board-only PLR with no enclosure or display is comparably priced. Also, I don't think there is a Click made that will drive an 8 A / 120 VAC load. There's still a niche market for PLRs.

  • Was the SmartRelay making the loud clicking noise?

    Also you didnt mention the other power outlets beyond the blinking yellow.

  • No, it was the auxiliary relays I had the PLR driving. The actual relay outputs are very quiet.
