AWESOME movie from 1980!-always loved the theme music and seeing this clip; well I was in NAVY 1984-2004, was a crewman on the SH-3 Helicopter, did a tour on a carrier,(Carl Vinson not Nimitz) and I lived in Oahu Hawaii so...YES this is an AWESOME clip!

i love that movie. the one and only bad thing in the movie is that the nimitz can't stop the pearl harbor attack

woah if you really sent a modern supercarrier at that era it will change the tide world war 2 nazi germany wins in europe if America never joined the war because pearl harbor will never be attacked.
