you got it backwards. assuming a no-slip condition between the clubface and the ball upon impact (the only condition seen in high speed camera footage), the clubface will impart rotation to the ball in the angular direction defined by the angle between the vector represented by the velocity of the clubface and the normal vector of the clubface. Hence the angle between the vector representing the velocity of a sand wedge and the normal vector of its face creates BACKSPIN. nice sweater vest

I found that the most important driving secret is not to lock your keys in the car. Its really hard to drive if you do. And don't drink drive cos its hard to stay on the road, you may run over somebody's letterbox and that would make them really sad. The postman would get angry too cos he's got nowhere to put their mail so he could get bitten by the dog when he has to take the mail to the door. Then the dog would have to put down. Oh and maybe buckle up for safety too.

That's all hogwash, you need to drill a 1/8" hole in your club head to properly vent it. It's illegal to do but you'll get 50-75 yards longer on ever drive.
