Stewart Lee's Comedy Vehicle, Episode 4: Red Button Special

Here's the fourth of Stewart Lee's conversations with Armando Iannucci accompanying his current BBC TV series. I haven't watched it yet because I haven't seen the episode it relates to so all the references would probably all just soar over my head like a proud condor; but it's quite funny, I expect.

I just realised while looking at still images from this that Armando Iannucci is (perhaps unconsciously) imitating Jeremy Isaacs's interviewing style - all comprehending nods and thoughtful side-glances.

superb show this week. the sketches were a bit crap, but the final one with (p)est. control was a stroke of genius. i also greatly admire a performer that has the balls to tell his audience that they're a bunch of idiots. i wonder how many people switched off and read a book?

@Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay totally agree. It also became clear that Stew just took the sketches as an opportunity to get some of his favourite performers in the show. Really enjoyed the second series too. I fear it may be the last!
