@kay19833 true the culture began deep in South Bronx, but hip-hop was a multi-cultured creation... latinos contributed equally as much as young black youth. and if it wasn't for cats like Paul C. McKasty (WHITE MAN), teaching "blackmen" how to use the SP-12, or Jamey Staub (A White MAN) engineering all of Pete Rock's incredible production + teaching him how to make his beats sound harder and more dynamic, i doubt we'd have all this rugged ass hip-hop. Asian cats dominate B-Boy scene too!
