that's true, i noticed this when i typed the ipa. it should have been vui as in nuit

what about chevignon then? probably you could say that the /e/ could have been closer, more like an EY in english.

anyway, i just wanna show that the original video concerned has mistakes in pronunciation in some crucial ways, such as the absence of nasalized vowels, aspiration of p, t, k, confusion between /ts/ and /tʃ/, mispronunciation of /r/ and /R/, etc. if you look at that video you'll know. I can't say i pronounce perfectly, but it's just an effort to point out what i know is wrong.
