This weird spinning top turns itself upside down. someone please explain this to me.

It has to do with moment of inertia but minimal one. The top while spinning changes because heavier part tends to go where spinning is "easier" and that is up where there is less side movement.

This has to do with the moment of the inertia of the spinning and where the mass is most concentrated. I.e. at the stem and not at the hollow round part

oh yeah! because the round bit is hollow so the stem must be heavier.
