This video shows the beginning part of the Southern Ocean storm that knocked down Pete Goss' "Spirit of Mystery" and broke Mark's leg. The popping noises are drops of freezing rain hitting the camera & deck. More info @ http://www.petegoss.com

  • this video is so awesome, just subbed, to bad the audio is bad.

  • Nice video, But also a little nerve racking.

  • Those are big seas, but you are running well.

  • That's a lot of water!

  • @mathiassoli any ware from 15 to 35 feet not counting the depth of the trough for more info wiki it

  • how big are the waves???

  • This video, for some reason, really captures the amazing power of the ocean. The fact that man can be part of, and right in the middle of it is awesome and an incredible blessing!

  • Asshole, were is the rest of the storm.

  • So awesome.

  • I admire people who go out onto the ocean. I love the sea - but only from the beaches. I do not have the courage to go out in the middle of it at all. Too vast, too full of sharks. I'll watch videos like this instead!
