King Mo Lawal Hearing with Nevada State Athletic Commission

Here is an audio clip of former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Muhammed' King Mo' Lawal as he speaks to the Nevada Athletic Commission about his positive drug test returned after his fight on Jan 7 against Lorenz Larkin.

In this line of questioning, the commissioners are asking Lawal about a knee injury he sustained as well as the drugs he took during that time, and the over the counter supplement that he took that may have caused the positive drug test.

It's her job to make sure that whoever signed the contract can read and understand it, the same way a judge has to ensure that a witness has read and understood their statements. If Mo couldn't read English then he might have a legitimate claim to not knowing the contents of what he signed. She was offsetting any possible defence along this lines.
