  • If he really had that bad a criminal record. Good riddance to the piece of shit.

  • brand new car well you just got an brand new riot bitch ass cops

  • fuck the police

  • @kitsunefoxfyre Ah, yes, a political polarity shift? Hilarious. So, the dad who shot and killed his own son taking his gun out of the case, that wasn't an accident either? There is either accidental or intentional. If it were intentional, which it so obviously was not, then it would be murder. This was accidental, therefore involuntary manslaughter. Sorry there is not a better word for it, but it was a criminally negligent homicide, and that means accident.

You do know that the republicans of the 60s are the equivalent of today's democrats and vice versa correct? could you also explain who thought of Jim crow and " separate but equal?" Since you are such an avid historian and all. In your eyes this might have been an accident. In my eyes an accident is when you drop a glass of juice or you run over a cat. This is far more serious than a mere " accident."

  • @kitsunefoxfyre Thanks! You do realize that the Republicans are wholly responsible for the civil rights legislation of the 60's and the Democrats are the ones who tried desperately to block it right? If not, then you prove your ignorance. I have plenty of compassion for the loss of life. I have always said that Grant did not deserve to die and that Mehserle deserves prison. I just will not abide liars distorting the truth and making this something it is not. This is a proven accident, not murder

  • @ssn708

You have about as much compassion for your fellow human being as the republican party has for black people ( see what I did there?) So, the fact that he had a prior criminal record makes it perfectly ok for him to be placed on his stomach and shot to death. Sounds pretty reasonable to me. I am sure you sleep much safer at night knowing that unarmed people can be shot to death with little to no consequence, might you by chance be a cop?

  • @kitsunefoxfyre Sure. It's called a public records search. Arrest records are public record. He was arrested 12 times in 4 years (age 18-22, juvenile records are sealed). Mostly violent offenses. He had previously resisted arrest and assaulted officers (as he had done that night). I doubt you have held the sig sauer and the M26, both police issue. The difference is not so great as you maintain, and again, it is a moot point when one panics as Mehserle did. And again, Karma struck, it struck Grant

  • @ssn708

Could you cite your sources that said that Oscar grant was a career criminal? I have also held both in my hand, and only an idiot can't tell the difference between one and the other. I am certain he was trained to tell the difference and he was also trained not to panic. He also had no reason to panic, since Oscar was on his stomach on the floor. The man was shot in his back and died. There is no excuse for this. Karma is something that I as the police officer would be looking out for
