Merry Xmas! from Carranger 激走戦隊カーレンジャー

It's the last Sunday before Christmas. What better time to upload my Christmas video for 2009? So here it is: Merry Xmas! from Carranger

About the CDs...

Carranger has a ton of merchandise. Beyond the obvious toyline by Bandai, there is a metric asston of CDs. 3 Song Collections, 3 Music Collection, 14 CD Singles.....and a Christmas album. Yes, an entire CD packed with classic Christmas tunes sung by the Carranger cast. Of those songs, the original "Merry Xmas! from Carranger" has it's own CD Single as well. Crazy! Both the album and single for "Merry Xmas! from Carranger" are pretty rare. They both came out toward the end of the Carranger run. This song has appeared in numerous collections since, but the majority of the Christmas tunes from the album have been out of print since 1996.

About the figures...

The figures are from a line called Action Carranger. They are larger sized figures with either a punch or kick feature. Not the greatest figures in the world, but ALL of the helmet sculpts are dead-on in likeness. That...is pretty rare. They come with three weapons a piece. Awesome stuff there.

More from these figures in the future...

Power Rangers Turbo saw similar figures in their toy line. If I recall, the weapons were less detailed.
