Nice bike:) I was looking for a video comparing the G2L to the E2D so this is perfect!!.. I have the G2L and i was looking at the E2DL so i could have a little more punch! (now its 200Lms) How is the beam focus when your outside? does it shine a long way or is it more spread out? Great review man! Thanks a lot.

Beam focus on the E2DL is focused and not spread out. It is a great light. I just bought a Olite T20 which has built in strobe and SOS features.

is the LED on the G2 actually a blue tinted beam or its the camera adjusted that way? because i thought LEDS are suppose to be white

The LED Lights are bright white.

g2's are the best model surefire's IMO. their design wont handle the higher output LED heat, but if they built a model based on runtime rather than lumens it'd be awesome.

I'm not being a troll lol.... but it's amazing to me how a light like a Fenix LD20 stands up to so many other bigger "tactical" lights. You get 180 lumens (225 with the "newer" one) and crazy run times in a package that is slightly bigger than 2 aa batteries. I carry mine everywhere. I probably WILL get at least one surefire light at some point because so many people talk about the build quality, but it must be godly seeing as how most fenix lights are near perfect and super strong already.

Pretty nice little light review. The E2D LED is a hell of a light. 2:33 "When those liberals come to take your guns away, you'll just be able to blind 'em, and stab 'em or shoot 'em." Hell yeah brother, I feel the same way, but don't worry. They won't be able to do anything close to that. You might look into the Streamlight Super Tac, it's got one of the brightest and tightest beams of American-made 2x CR123 LED lights. I've got one, works perfectly on the AR15. Double-sided springs for recoil!
