  • hopefully those same young white males at the coup show will also be affected on a socio-political level, growing up to become part of the solution, not part of the problem.

  • Real rap that makes you think! Todays rap makes you only think how in the world did this bozo on the tv or radio get a contract! I wish todays rappers had a message, but they are only out for self!

  • @straitkat Thank you. The winter, police crackdowns, and internal disputes have forced occupy 2.0. Fortunately, this has led to more outreach and alliances with established organizations.

Occupy has already impacted the republican caucuses/primaries by providing the language that diminished Mitt Romney ("vulture capitalist"/capital gains and tax haven rich).

It is unfortunate that a black president only addresses these issues in a SOTU when whites make noise, but that's the way itis

  • its interesting - i have not seen nor heard this song since 1994; and even then i knew it was powerful - yet my competency level had not been developed yet for me to fully absorb it all. now 17 years later i am blown away by a message so real.

  • @kingofcrunk1010 ... well said my friend... more people need to know the facts! even my own people!

  • @OysterOfDoom ... well said my friend...

  • This country has a long history of pitting white against black while wall street thrives on our backs. Only when the 99% unites and runs these bastards out of town will "the people" be free from corporate oppression. They own the political system and they own us. Unite and end the rule of the 1%.

  • @dunkafelic Us low SES whites have been fighting the system, too. We now have the "occupy" movement, but have trouble getting "minority" community support despite great latino and black members (often de facto leaders-> shhhh). We need unity as classes rather than races.

Also- I love Boots as an artist, but find him severely lacking in real life.

  • @dunkafelic

Working class white men were never the problem in the first place. It was capitalists, who happened to be white men.

  • E-40 sampled this on Practice Lookin' Hard

  • NICE!! '-

  • lol i heard this a million times and never saw the video until now.
