Prospect Park race promoted by Kissena/Greg. M35+ race. Broken spoke about 30 minutes in, did the rest of the race on a 15 spoke front wheel. After sitting at the back to make sure the wheel was okay, I decided to contest the field sprint.

Helmet cam is a Canon ZR100 recording what a chasecam.com bullet cam sees. Chasecam sits on my helmet, ZR100 in either a Camelbak or my jersey pocket.

  • I love all of your videos, this one is one of my favorites!!! Keep them coming! What bike are you racing in here?

  • thanks. I'm riding a Giant TCR carbon with the slimmer fork. I don't know which generation it is, but I got it in 2005. The parts are a mix of Chorus/Record 10s. Wheels are Reynolds DV46 tubulars, which I still race now in 2009.

  • At this race the only 3 race was the P123s, and the M35 is slower than the P123s. Sometimes the M35s start faster but the P123s, when they drill it, are way fast.

In general I think Masters are faster since that is a 1-2-3-4 race. 3s only have 3s. I avoid Masters races except at PP.
