This fly beat right here comes from SNK's 3-D fighter known as the King of Fighters: Maximum Impact. This song plays on the Downtown stage. This stage can also be considered the concieted hot-head Kyo Kusanagi and the bastard son of Geese Howard, Rock Howard's stage. Kyo's entrance in this stage is pretty tight, although it's poorly animated and physically impossible to do.
KYO. MY MAN. Kyo is frikkin' beastcake. I don't know a single game I didn't like him in (Well...there is Capcom vs. SNK 2, were they turned him into a clunky, confusing robot. Stupid Capcom and their unneccessary 6-button set-up. This is why I perfer CVS1 and its 4-button set-up; the SNK guys PLAYED like SNK guys, and the Cap one's did fine, as well.) What sucked though is that I couldn't do my favorite New Wave Kick to Fire Ball combo correctly on this game.
ROCK-MAN. Shoot, I like Rock, too. Especially in Neo Geo Battle Coliseum. But not in CVS2. CVS2 fucked up his Neo Deadly Rave. But anyway, Rock, according to one of my friends, is "a jack-of-all-trades, but isn't very good at all of his skills." Kind of like the Red Mage class in Final Fantasy. And my friend's comment on Rock is right, Rock has it all: counters, projectiles, a grapple, and a chain combo super; yet at the end of the day, there are other characters who do better than Rock in all of those things. Rock's voice acting is rather stupid in this game. When doing his Double Reppuken/Double Gale Punch, it sounds like he's saying "Double Ice Cream Punch!" Yeah. It's that bad.
Enjoy, dudes and dudettes!
