are there good lumber stores around the flint/lansing area to buy alder/ash and mahogany? I live in the perry/morrice area between flint and lansing. Im building guitars as well. also what is a better stain. nitrocellulose, water base , or polyurithane. I ordered colortone from stew mac, but i also saw a video on using rit dyes. any advice is greatly appreciated
