Actually, Go-Onger did things a tiny bit differently from past series and counted each Engine as a separate Gattai Series. Speedor, Bus-On, and BearRV are 1, 2, and 3 respectively, making Carrigator 6. Did you look at their boxes?

IIRC, Carrigator was a legendary Gian Engine, which were larger and more powerful than your average Engine.

Jumbwhale was just a powerful and skilled Engine who was leader of the Wing Clan.

And don't forget that T-line and K-line also didn't have partners.
