My review of a strange race, where Lewis Hamilton produced his, his team's and a KERS car's first win of the season. Fernando Alonso started from pole, but was quickly hunted down by Hamilton, and when the Renault exited the pits at the start of the twelth lap, he soon realised felt vibrations from the front of his car, and slowed very quickly. Half way round the lap, Alonso's right front whell flew off, and he subsequently retired. Hamilton won from Kimi Raikkonen in the sole Ferrari after Felipe Massa's crash, and The Red Bull of Mark Webber, who moved into second place in the championship in front of his team mate Sebastian Vettel who retired with suspension damage. Championship Leader Jenson Button finished in 7th position.
