I don't know what the poster means by "weaksauce" but I can guess we have nothing in common. Pretty or not, Katie Melua makes this song sexy and much more moving than the CCR version. Nothing wrong with CCR's song, but I like covers that put their own stamp on the song whereever they choose to go. Like Vanilla Fudge making the Supreme's "Keep me hanging on" a total monster. Katie, you are alright with me.

To Clarify: The original was by Screamin' Jay Hawkings. CCR, Nina Simone, Arthur Brown are among the better known covers.
