This poem was written by a soldier stationed in Okinawa, Japan. It is a great Christmas poem that everyone should listen too this Christmas.
I made this slide show and I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy New year.

  • I fight so that one day my children wont have to, take it as you will but never insult what we live and die for.

  • I'm a deployed airman currently serving a 6 month tour overseas. I'm missing my twin daughters first Christmas. This brought me to tears. Thank you to the person who put the sideshow together. Merry Christmas and God Bless America.

Thank you Anthonyc77, this means a lot to me and those affected.

  • It's not the poem that I like but the meaning it holds I'm not a soldier yet but I know they are alone and deserve respect no matter were as long as they fight for freedom I think that that soldier is alright. all soldiers deserve a welcome home.

  • on some videos i've seen, about the military videos, there is always people arguing about british vs american troops, im from the UK and this nearly bring me to tears each time, does it really matter if you're American or British, we all fight for one thing, freedom, and many people need to learn to respect this. respect to all those who died defending those that they love!

  • wow that was a great video, and there are many other video tributes to our troops that are great as well. I have a brother who is a SGT. Major in the marines. He has been in for about 19 years. God bless all of our troops and god bless our great country as well!

  • :( god bless him
