--------------------------------------------------

On June 8th, 1993, 20 tornadoes touched down in the southern half of Wisconsin. The WSR-57 radar, then in Neenah (now in Green Bay) was knocked out by the storms leaving all of the eastern half of wisconsin to be covered by the WSR-74C radar then in Madison (Now in Sullivan).

Today this event ranks fourth in Wisconsin history for most tornadoes in one day.

Shown here is the aftermath of the F2 tornadoes that struck Ripon and Green Lake, along with a tornado warning.
