@2muchharrypotter what you say is true, he was The Doctor for 7 years, from 1974 to 1981, however this version of the theme was only used from 1974 to 1979, in 1980 they started using a newer version of the theme, which is the same one used during the entire Peter Davison era

@Sceili1234 that seems to be a common occurance because I didn't get into WHO until '07 which was a year after this came out and I don't even remember seeing it the first time it was on, however it was so long between the original airing and the DVD release of Blue Harvest that by the time it did come out I saw it and understood and was totally blown away by the fact that it was in there all along and I didn't even know it. I suppose I just ignored it because I din't understand it

@stingwings It's a show for gay men and girls who go "squee!!!" at cute guys. Everything about new Who is a severe exercise in cynicism. It's as if a computer was programmed to do everything anyone has ever done anywhere to appeal to the lowest common denominator (generic action movie trailer music, disenfranchised chav girls who turn out to be all important, token minorities, prurient sex play, sickly pathos...) - for the end purpose of creating a gay themed show that is "successful".
