China toys = America's Future, Why not Mexican Toys?

This was an informational picket on 10/20/07 at Williston Vermont's Walmart about how China is quickly becoming the US's main trading partner while people in Mexico have lost 75% of their factories to work in and come to the US for work. The U.S threatens to ship back 17 million immigrants while providing them no job or future to go back to in their countries.

U.S. High school classrooms in the late 80's were teaching us that America needed to stay in manufacturing or that eventually we would go bankrupt as a country. Oddly enough Clinton (among other politicians) sold us out to the Chinese a few years later to make a quick dollar, and since then the wealth of America has been slowly bleeding its way out. My prediction is that unless things change, we are going to have a massive fire sale in America.

Here is the main problem, and honestly Ithink its too late to do anything about it: In order to remain a strong country, the US had to stay an industrial superpower because then the money flows in the US instead of our deficit getting bigger by the day. Soon China will own us completely, all they will need to do is wait for us to default on our loans. Mexico is our neighbor, on the same continent, helping neighbors would have been a better option.

Great Video! I wish more people would stand up for America's Manufacturing future. Reminds of the Civil War, the North had factories to develop supplies to keep fighting, while the south couldn't sustain itself, now America is doing the same with China! What will we do if we ever go to war with them, right them a PO for some supplies? At the same time, I am concerned over the chemicals in these Chinese Toys! This seems to me to be deliberate.

We have here a very big dilema, there is this shop that sells clothes at 1 euro... and is packed everyday. Most clothes come from Bangladesh ans China where children are knwon to be top workers.

China has already taken over as the world´s leader economically speaking, the US still remians the political, sociological and cultural leader tho. I was looking at 2006 figues 2 days ago and I was shocked on how the economy of China has grown over the past 8 years, sometimes at a pace of 48 percent annualy in some areas, this contrasted with a 6-8 percent of most developed economies. Scary shit.

usa is screwing its own people thanks to walt mart for giving all the jobs to chinese . why??? all that money the usa spend in china they should be spending it to open new jobs for their own country thats why walt mart is the only leader and the richiest supercenter store all around the usa and the world . now it makes me wonder how europes money is almost more valuable than the us dollar because they are independables from their selfs and open jobs their own countrys
