In this episode, our journey takes us to the Steamship, where it will not be so easy getting to the engine room which is draining the power of the Fire Crystal.

  • I swear I'm having bad luck learning Blue Magic, it took me at least 8 battles before I could learn Exploder (for the sake of getting all spells following this LP). The same was said of Aero, they kept hitting everyone but Galuf :-/

  • You could just make everyone into Blue Mages or learn the "Learning" ability. I'm just doing it this way, because that's part of my self-inflicted challenge.

On a side note, this problem was fixed in FF6.

  • Bad architectural design will forever be to the peril of our heros. :(

  • "Oh right of course! Of course there are monsters on board the ship! We can never just walk straight to the engine room without anything getting in our way"

Haha you made my day xD

  • where can you find bolt?

  • lol that bird on 1:00 scared the hell out of me first time i saw it

  • The "Job mage class"?

  • Just to let everyone know, the Poltergiests are undead, so you can use the Healing staff for some high damage! :D

  • I hope you're not past level fifteen yet. If you do, you'll have to grind up to level twenty to learn a near-essential Blue Magic in the next dungeon (it only works on characters whose level is a multiple of five).

  • @HCBailly That's what I'm trying with this game. I made everyone blue mages until they got "learning" and equip that as a secondary when they meet new enemies and inevitably someone catches a new ability and then I switch them back to whatever I want. Careful you can get carried away leaning new abilities and it can get "crazy" like you say. I think your way is better and just stick to what you want for each character instead of making them all "supergods". -;)

  • Steamship is the worst part!

  • @eosophobic Its the ULTIMATE! Knife in the Game.

  • If you don't get the world map earlier, it shows up in this ship :-)

  • @eosophobic he runs from battles because later in the game he will collect a wepon called the chicken knife which is powered by how many times u run away
