This video is very old; I have gotten much better since the making of it. Thank you for your advice, but it is not necessary. Please watch the video response, it is much better.

  • I dunno why people try to tell eachother 'proper' bass technique. I say play the instrument however the fuck you want. There was never any bass god that said it had to be played a certain way or you will go to hell.

  • @Kiter02 Yeah I never saw that bass god either. But some techniques are more practical than others; It's naturally easier to play with your fingers than with your armpit

  • most fretless players actually do play fretted differently. There is more horizontal importance in your left hand movement on fretless. Your playing, however, is very understandably similiar to your fretted technique; you do not play like other fretless players with 'mwah' producing movements. You just play like its a fretted.

To each his own, but dont over generalize.

  • @figjambass Yeah, now that I've watched this video it's clear how my technique didn't suit the fretless style too clearly; then again, this isn't my newest fretless video.

  • @Marlowann I would rather here this jam on this bass than a fretted bass, sounds just right to me!!!

  • @bluespirat

Ah! I understand. Thank you very much.

  • @Marlowann more vibrato and longer is singing the tone.

go to" bluespiraten" ingos saxophon jam by youtube hear my sound with warwick corvette Fl.

  • @bluespirat I don't believe there's any significant difference between fretless and fretted technique.

  • why do you play fretless, when your technicstyle frettet is?

  • Is that a Warwick Corvette? I love the playability of those. The first fretless I ever played was a 5 string corvette.
