This tutorial shows a way to build surfaces to describe a design feature seen on several cars today. Its a combination of two different shapes that flow together. http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?siteID=123112&id=12268463

  • I agree, that's why I use the software Icem surf , you can match even in G3 continuity!

  • Explicit control is rubbish! I also don't believe .001mm tolerances as those used in auto and aero are necessary, and you're just messing for no good reason, but that's just me. Why you also can't align G3 and only go as far as curvature (G2) is understandable but unacceptable for being a serious surfacing app.

  • Thanks a bunch!

  • neat trick!
