First time at the track, 14.42 @ 93.42 miles, not to bad for my first run 2006 v6 automatic mustang, estimated horse power about 222.55 HP at the wheels, and about 289.32 HP at the flywheel

  • 14.42? Why did I count about 15 seconds then? There's now way you ran 14.42 with those mods. I WILL believe 93.4 mph, but not 14.42. 14.42 @ 93 doesn't match up unless you had slicks and a manual and you were doing 4000-5000 rpm launches. 93 mph is about 15.0 in an automatic car with decent traction. Maybe you ran 14.92. Lets be honest. If it really was 14.42, scan in the timeslip.

  • im about to give away my secret, my dialbo sport tuner has a race tune from bamachips, get one and u wont regret it, i promise u...make sure u get the race tune and make sure u dont use it on the streets, also another secret , turn ur heater on max let the hot air out ur engine it also make a difference..there u go do as i say and u too will run in the low 14's

  • Dude tune or not, if you're running 14.42 your trap speed will be more like 98 mph, not 93. Just take a picture of the timeslip and post it so we can all see, otherwise I will not buy 14.42 @ 93 mph.

  • man i did that run back in dec. 08, i have no idea where i put that time slip, also u said i launced @ 4000 or 5000 thats impossible cause if i hold my brakes and do about 3000 my wheels start spinning like crazy cause of my race tune, also as u can see in the video if i were lauching at 4000-5000 u would see constant fumes from the muffler cause it was a cold nite u only see fumes when i punch it. check for ur self

  • WOw that diablo sports tune is something huh.

Hmm i really want to get this now.

  • if it were me I would have made this my first mod, u notice a difference right out the box...

  • u guys r all gay. buy a real mans car. stop being cheap with ur little v6s and running ur ur high 14s. all i have is an 05 gt with intake tune exhaust and pulleys and my best time is 12.9 aat 105. come on now

  • I agree. Last time I went to the local track my automatic 2006 v6 ran a 15.6 and a 00-01 gt i ran against only ran a 15.1. All I had on my car at the time was a flowmaster single axleback exhaust. I can't wait for the track to reopen in the spring to see if my new JLT CAI, Bama tune, and SLP single exhaust will put me past that gt!!!

  • For all the haters, here is a FACT for you: if you take a tuned v6, out true duals on it, and match it against a stock GT of the same year, that V6 will beat it...do your homework on it...the V6 has higher compression (in 99-04 models anyways) than the GTs...the V6 is quicker, no doubt, and the build I'm doing on my 01 V6 that will have me pushing 350hp at the rear wheels....couple that with upgrades to my AUTOMATIC transmission, and i guarantee I'll run with stock GTs all day long...don't hate

  • I have a 2009 Mustang V6 (automatic, hey its a daily driver lay off) and ive only done a few simple mods to it and im running with GT's they usually get me in the top end but from 0 to about 120-125 im neck and neck with them

  • @redneckalex08 Yea cars run very strong in the northeastern US. Southwestern US is not as fast. Higher temps and more elevation. My 105 mph trap in Arizona would be 107 - 108 mph in your area. 2005-2010 GTs average 97-100 mph here, 97 mph for autos and 100 - 101 mph for standard with very good driver.

  • @gtdrummerdude I turned my TCS and O/D off held down the break and gas, once the light turned green I nailed it. 92.99mph. I'm from southeastern PA

  • @redneckalex08 I can see it happening in GREAT conditions. Wouldn't happen here in Phoenix tho. Stock 2010 4.0L Mustang did 15.3 @ 90 mph driven by a Ford test driver at the local track right in front of my eyes.

  • @gtdrummerdude Dude i ran a 14.87 bone stock with my automatic 2008 v6.
