What Makes Prometido de Selecta Special?

Asside from being the most naturally gaited Paso Fino National and International Champion stallion, Prometido de Selecta consistently sires champion offspring. When we say "The stallion born to fino... producting babies born to win", it's not just an expression--it is a proven fact.

At only six years of age he had already produced an impressive list of National Champions and in 2003 his competing offspring won him the title of TOP TEN STALLION!

  • I like all horse, but to be honest, I don't find this horses nor the gait of them any fun they are just wortless. I think instead of Paso fino horses. They should be called old Type Writter horses! They soubd just like them!!

But anyways just keep messing their gaits as all of you have been doing.

    See ya'll

  • Dannyplomos, we aren't messing with their gaits. They are born with this gait. Read what pasofilly says... "This is a natural gait".

    They also run and jump.

I think if you ever rode a good Paso, you would change your mind about their worth. They are a smoother and far more comfortable ride than any other horse in the world. In fact, a lot of people who have had knee or back surgeries are switching to this breed because of that fact.

Don't knock it until you try it.

  • Pretty horse but doesn't look like it's going anywhere soon. Why own a gaited if it's that slow. The horse doesn't look happy or comfort.

  • He is not slow...look how his feet move like a grouping of sewing machine needles. This video shows the horse's perfect 4-beat lateral gait. Professional Paso Fino trainers work hard to try to get their horses to perform the Fino gait with this much grace. Prometido can also run and jump, but all horses can do that. Not all horses can Fino like this.

  • very very nice Stallion, horses like these make me want to switch from walkers to paso's...

  • You really do not understand the fino gait. This is a collected gait used solely for the show ring. This is a natural gait. I have a very fino mare and yes she moves in the fino gait when she gets excited in the pasture. She also can canter, gallop and run like any other breed. Do not be too quick to judge this amazing stallion. He is very happy and comfortable when in this gait. It amazes me that other breed owners seem to be offended by the paso breed.

  • So absolutely beautiful it brought a tear to my eye! I am gathering video footage for my eighty year old Mom with Parkinsons Disease to enjoy. She will love this as a former horse lady. Thank You!!!

  • They really don't know what are they talking. This is one of the best fino stallion.

  • I understand perfect Fino's gait . He's not happy doing short collected gait. Is that what he does in the field? What about his feelings?

Gaited riders want speed & comfort. Try watching this SHOBA 2009 Singlefooting and Speed Racking Horses E. Fork. Horses are having fun. Many are crossing Paso's creating bigger stronger, horses with super gaits. Paso's still have legs, & tendon problems?

    Thanks B.

  • this gated horse has won several times top ten sire of USA and won alot of competicions his very old thats why his slow
