2011 Thunder Over the Blue Ridge Highlights

Highlights of the 2011 Thunder Over the Blue Ridge Air Show in Martinsburg, WV. Footage is from the Military Appreciation Day on Friday, September 16, as well as the show on Saturday, September 17. Due to the tragic accident which claimed the life of Jack "Flash" Mangan on the Trojan Horsemen, the scheduled show for Sunday was canceled. The Trojan Horsemen team members, families, and friends remain in our thoughts and prayers.
Thunder Over the Blue Ridge featured performances by the Trojan Horsemen Demonstration Team, the F-16 Viper East Demonstration Team, Paul Jennings, John Klatt, Scott "Scooter" Yoak flying the P-51D Mustang "Quick Silver", Neal Darnell in the Flash Fire Jet Truck, Bill Finagin, Jerry Wells, Charlie Schwenker, and Air Show Announcer Larry Rutt.
