Mirror's Edge Chapter 1 Flight 5:15:80 Speedrun (normal route)

No big alternative route has been taken, since I was both too dumbed to dicover themselves and too lazy to check them on YouTube. xD But, well, it's just a test, to see how fast I can get.

I made tons of mistakes, among which, the most notable one might be the failure to perform a roller after the last fall before escaping the helicopter, but this still turned out to be my best personal record. The average travel speed should be among the very top on world record leadersboard too regardless of the long route I took.

The run was done on 720p, and it's also the 1st 720p video I've ever recorded. It turned out to be very annoying to record on such a hi-res. Plus I've turned the NVIDIA graphics cards' PhysX acceleration on, which contributed to a lot of extra visual effects such as the curtains in the room swinging when being hit by bullets from the helicopter, and the broken glasses still remaining on the ground and being able to interact with Faith's feet instead of just fading away after being broken into pieces; however the PhysX effects eat up pretty much framerate, especially when the game is recorded. I guess only two SCSI HHD's will do fine.

While I was running through Plaza, I got caught on the wall a bit when going upstairs the last stairs, which should be totally avoided for a speedrun. If I had recored my previous 5:22 run, much less mistakes could be noticed there actually, so that's where it's weird about this run being faster. I guess it was caused by less hesitation on some hard bits.

Hopefully I'll get some more trainings and see if I'll get big improvements on my controls. Then I may try some alternative routes instead. A full run is still a white hope for my poor techniques though.

@kenerry PC有最好的画面是个fact 吧..当然如果你指的是和PS3比的话，360版确实更好。

以前沒見過這類的遊戲﹐只能說太有創意了

從頭到尾不以撕殺而是以矯健身手飛檐走壁來過關的

不知這點子是否從駭客帝國第一集中Trinity避過那些age­nt追殺的風格

影片後面看你從高處落下摔破玻璃倒地不起還以為你死了

原來是必經的劇情安排XD

嗯，PS3上也有。 :P 这游戏其实就是关于跑酷运动的，话说我觉得按照EA的习惯，他们­可以把它放到EA Sports系列里去了。 XD

最近大陆把YT给封了，好像都2个月了，只能用代理登陆，速度超­慢。 =\

this game can be as good graphic and realistic as it can but the fact that everytime she jumps from a high buildings to another...and never gets hurt is so un-realistic...I mean those are like: I don't know much high, but a normal person can't jumps from there and not get hurt, this is for sure...
