One of the few places you could officially walk your dog on Hong Kong island disappeared with the closure of the Wan Chai Dog Park. With an increasing number of residential complexes, public and private starting to enforce No Pet policies, just how pet friendly is Hong Kong?

  • Cute but Poor dogs don't have a place to run / _ \

  • Luckily I live in a building where we are allowed to keep pets, and they do not cause any more of a nuisance than human neighbours.

    I hope that more estates will start allowing people to keep pets, as they are great companions, especially for the elderly, many of whom live in public housing.

    Does the government have plans to open any new dog parks? The one in Wan Chai was great, and will be missed
