This has many possible architectural applications, but i don't like the fact that the switches are either magnetized or demagnetized, it makes for sloppy transitions of displayed content. I would suggest that you would instead make the magnets reverse polarity and have some sort of backstop for the mechanism so you have a really sharp move from in to out, without the jiggle. THAT would be impressive. Good luck
Its a great idea. but seriously... I want to know who was in charge of making a proposal for a screen mounted 1" think magnetized cloth display for a laptop.. that is just all kinds of wrong. I hope if you really pitch this for some type of manufacturing you remove that portion, to say the least.
