I did a similar set up many years ago, It's one of my favorite methods of killing Emerald Weapon.

I beaten FFVII some 4-6 times and it never occurred to me that miming a character's limit break was even possible. Frankly, seeing as there are only two opponents in the entire game (Emerald and Ruby) that even needs such a setup, I suppose I never bother taking the time to experiment.

Still, the fact that this requires numerous Mime and Counter materias suggest that it's probably a lot more work than the simple KOTR spam. Or did you use the chocobo farm leveling trick?

ive just started a new game on this and although this looks a cooler way to kill emerald, you dont really benefit from the ap with all that materia. but saying that, if you dont need the ap lol go nuts with that strategy! well done dude :)

someone spent WAY too much time leveling up materia. I got bored after making 5 mimes. In the end it was all I needed really. Though I will admit I was cheap and used the Lucky 7's trick on him to save me half the battle.

@MrDasolja each one increases damage by 20%, up to a total of +50% damage.
