Martial Arts Odyssey: Ramon Cambodian Boxer

At Paddys fight Club, Phon Penh, Cambodia, Antonio Graceffo meets an up-and-coming Cambodian boxer, named Ramon. A protégé of trainer, Paddy Carson, Ramon is moving his way up the ranks of English boxer in Cambodia and may eventually have a shot at fighting internationally. Like many Khmers, Ramon struggles to overcome poverty. His family, of four, live in a single concrete room, and cook over an open fire. Ramons father struggles to find work as a construction laborer for $3 per day. Because of the money Ramon earns from boxing his younger sister can attend school. does ramon do boxing. as in american boxing too? i was confused to see some khmer kick boxing..

@MegaMoFUnk We have both boxing and kickboxing at the gym. Ramon has had about 70 kickboxing fights. But now he is a professional boxer (English boxing), and he will be fighting internationally.

If you ask me, nothing's more beautiful than Cambodian simplicity. Even when life is hard, the people there still manages to crack a smile and live each day, one at a time. Actually, that came from a bias kinda point of view. There's amazing people like that everywhere (Thailand, the people of Shan state, the middle east, etc.) Well thanks again, Antonio, for uploading videos like this ^_^. I know you're probably busy but I hope you can at least post a video once a month or something lol.
