Art skating - those were the scariest. just big crash on firm surface.

The DIN settings must have been off. They check the tension settings through a little window, and the tech must have misread them, or forgotten to turn them back. The flex and release of the ski was enough to pre-release the skis, and it the moment they flexed off the lip. That's how it happened at the same time. I was a binding tech.

I love that the guy who lost his skis held it together and still did all his flips/turn and in great form! I wonder if he got disqualified or still got points for air/form/tricks. I doubt the landing hurt, he landed as if he had skis on, so the impact should have been no different... the slide may have hurt a bit tho!

yeah, i don't know why, but ice skating falls are the funniest to me. I think it's because I hate that "sport" with a passion

that last one! wow!!! funny in a way, but hey! that faceplant....ouch! but hey, were the skis on...like, not properly? or was the wind like, and pressure on the skiis when he wipped them down fly them off?
