There were a few issues, mostly dealing with the chain of custody. The paper ballots were not kept secure when being stored and transported from the polls to the recount. The tapes that seal the boxes apparently used a glue that was the equivalent of post-it notes. The ballots were stored overnight in a room, instead of in the ballot vault that exists for that purpose. The ballots are supposed to be escorted by active-duty police, but that didn't happen - it was just a couple guys in a van.

Albert is doing a good job for the r3V0Lution there. We should all stand behind him and his efforts, and assist him wherever possible. If you can't be there physically to assist with the recount, please donate to help him out. He's unemployed, away from his home state, to do this. alberthoward. org
