I like Spyderco knives. They're easy to use
and they have good locks. It's a shame I
can't travel with them. They're useful.

These are, in order of appearance, the
Navigator, Delica, and Meerkat models.

  • Nevermind knives...you can't even bring your toothpaste! Airplanes suck.

  • Thank goodness for Bruce Schneier. Someday rationality may prevail.

  • Oooooooh! Very nice! It looks very sharp! What is it about knives? I really like them! Thanks for posting this response to my little knife video. Did you see my follow-up with me flipping my knife in the air and catching it? Don't try that with any of your knives! - roc (I had to watch twice!)

  • The Delica is not sharp because I used it to open

a lot of boxes. The steel is good quality, though,

and I plan to get it sharpened soon.

I need to watch that video of you flipping a knife!

    Sounds scary.

  • MGABBYB, too much stuff disappears from checked luggage nowadays...

  • I am attaching a video I made just for you - I would have included a complete song, but I don't want the music police to harass me! - roc

  • Well, I mean keeping *one* in my pocket. It

makes sense if you think of it as a general tool

and not a weapon, but I know the world has no

way of knowing what I'm going to do with the

    pocket knife.

  • I just mean keeping them in my pocket all the time,

without having to feel like that's bad. I used to never

check bags, but now that I can't do that conveniently

on account of the liquid ban, I do check a bag, so ...

    good idea!

  • You are allowed to travel with them. Just put them into your checked luggage, not in your carry-on. Where were you planning on traveling with them anyway?
