  • can u please use a better camera????

  • Finally I know how it works;-) Excellent video!

  • @videoruslan high gear is the smallest one in the gear box and it couldn't resist the heavy weight of car to pull it forword from the static sitting to moving sitting so it will be very load on engine and could damadge this gear

  • You're a cunt... Only m.g. A on YouTube and u didn't even drive it

  • can anyone tell me whats the use of the bottom section of the whole contraption? the gears at the bottom which are not shown properly ?

  • I have a 1500 mg midget with the stick shift moving forward in 3rd gear on acceleration and backwards if deceleration. Any idea on why this would happen? I have the transmission removed from the car with the top cover removed. There is no movement in the 3rd gear to cause this issue at least. Any ideas?

  • My son finaly knows how a gear box works, thanks :)

  • @Sweetearthslug for # 2, Im taking about automatic transmission which i believe automatic doesn't have a clutch

  • @7150285

    complete stop:

1: Car will jump forward 1 - 2 feet and engine stalls, car stops, gearbox is put under high stress for a burst period.

2: By releasing the clutch slowly, it is possible to take of in 6th gear, but it burns the clutch, gearbox isn't harmed, clutch however wears out very fast .

    Hill climb:

Engine loses RPM, car loses speed, at a certain point (+-10Mph in 6th) the engine will struggle, eventually stall, gravity will pull the car down the hill in reverse

  • @7150285 ,

if you start with high gear, car will start moving very slow, or engine will shut up, and it could damage the gearbox.
